Too Close

The Nikkei Marketing Journal (Oct. 13 issue) reports that there's a good-old-day shop Matsunoya near my apartment, which opened this past January.

Nine months, and belated first visit.
In the late afternoon, the shop was cozily dark and smelled woody and spicy.


徒歩3分。めっちゃ近いやん。

Don't know why, but I always scrabble a lot of arrows (--> ya) while on the phone:

Company, ya.
who, ya.
to whom, ya.
please call back, ya.
number, ya.

A rain of --> marks.

Actually, I don't think I can take phone notes without them.
Probably my brain recognizes --> as a "got-it" program code.
